3D- Using Edge Loops to Model Faces

For the last couple of weeks, Ken's been teaching us about Edge Loops, Topography and how to use them to model human faces.
Part of his lessons involved learning how to distribute polygons using in Edge Loops, as can be seen with the following images (Please note, the first two were early drafts, hence their lack of completion)

Next, we tried using edge loops to model a face ourselves, using a design template as a reference. You can see my efforts below (please excuse how screwed up the face looks. That's how it looked on the template...)

Expect more next week!

3D- Metal Gear Rex

As with the last post, this was one of the main deliverables created from one of the design sheets I posted a while ago. This one is Metal Gear Rex, from the classic PS1 game Metal Gear Solid.

Once again, I've included a Perspective, Front, Top and Side view of the model, along with an alternate texture, wireframe and both texture sheets.
Ine the end, both models turned out great, but sadly the textures weren't quite the same quality. Expect revisions of the textures in the future.

3D- Starship Troopers Arachnid

It's been far too long since I updated this thing....
Remember those design sheets I uploaded a while ago? Well, since then, I've modelled, unwrapped and textured both of them. The first one is one of the arachnids from the film Starship Troopers.

As you can see, I've included a Perspective, Front, Top and Side View of the model, along with a wireframe, an alternate texture and the layouts of both the normal and alternate textures.
The second model should be in the next post.
